Orbital emphysema leading to vision loss A few days ago, I met a young woman with her left eye injured by air-jet gun. Fortunately, the air-jet gun was without bullets. The patient presented with left eye swelling prominent, subcutaneous and subconjunctival emphysema.There was no eye movement disorders and no nosal bleeding. Routine eye examination revealed: transparent cornea, anterior chamber deposit, aqueous humor clear, pupillary light response to mild retardation, lens transparent, fundus normal.
