What is the relationship between blood pressure and intraocular pressure (IOP)?

The four vital factors about glaucoma are: IOP, visual field, optic disk C/D ratio and angle or depth of the anterior chamber.
I think the IOP is the most important factor effecting the glaucoma process and prognosis. Maybe you would not be agree with me. In fact, we are incapable of diagnosing early onset of glaucoma. Because we could not judge which is the most vital contributed factor to glaucoma.
But blood pressure effect the IOP. The relationship between blood pressure and intraocular pressure are:

Right eye pain, but white blood cell number was 18*10^9/L
Today, I met a patient, complained of right part of the head pain besides eye pain, but without red eyes, no secretions increase, no vision decrease, only accompanied by pain in the eye rotation.I immediately thought of the glaucoma and optic neuritis. However, the conjunctiva, cornea, anterior chamber, aqueous humor, retinal optic disc had no obvious signs of inflammation.
This patient told me that his white blood cells were 18*10^9/L. He came here for exclusion of glaucoma. I said, how did you come to think of eye treatment? You should go to More >
